EAST ON MELROSE

Conceived by James, along with two musical partners-in crime (keyboard master Robert Turner and Grammy-winning drummer Lyndon Rochelle), East on Melrose was born in mid-2022.

The Los Angeles-based collective’s songwriting and sound combine the sophistication of iconic pop music acts from both sides of the Atlantic such as Michael Jackson, Donald Fagen, Wang Chung, Michael McDonald and Go West with elements of contemporary production comparable to that of The Weeknd, Thundercat, Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars. Says Tormé, “We created a texture that embodies every aspect of music we ever loved, from childhood to today…”

EOM’s debut appearance at Bottlerock Music Festival 2022 in Napa Valley garnered a stellar response. The eponymous album is set for release in late 2024.
